Patricia Soto, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Physics, presented a poster virtually at the Gibbs Biothermodynamics Conference, held Oct. 4-5. Soto presented the project that aims at unraveling the connection between the structural dynamics of the prion protein and pathological misshaping. Students involved in the project: junior Steffany Nguyen (psychology), junior Garret Gloeb (chemistry), senior Hannah Brockman (neuroscience), and senior Dan Irwin (biomedical physics).
