Kelly Dineen, RN, JD, PhD, assistant professor of law, is one of a handful of invited participants in the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)-sponsored workshop on research priorities for ethics and chronic pain management at the University of Toronto in May.
She will also present “Evidence-Based Treatments for Opioid Use Disorder: Disentangling Myth from Reality,” at an American Bar Association (ABA) spring meeting in New York.
Additionally, she will present “Opioid Prescribing: Law & Policy” at the Great Plains Health Care Symposium in North Platte, Nebraska, in May.
Dineen has also been elected as a council member for the ABA’s Senior Lawyers Division.
