Sean Watts, JD, professor of law, traveled to Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in February for a conference titled “War in Cities.” The by-invitation-only event included government, military and academic representatives from about 12 different countries. Watts presented on the subject of the law of war and humanitarian relief efforts. His talk explored the extent to which belligerents are required to permit deliveries of humanitarian aid into contest areas during armed conflict.
