Paul McGreal, JD, LLM, professor of law, participated in an invited roundtable discussion recognizing the 40th anniversary of the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, a law that outlaws the bribery of foreign government officials. The event took place Feb. 21-22 in Chicago, and it included nationally recognized practitioners and academics in the area of foreign bribery law. It was co-sponsored by the University of Illinois College of Law and the Gies College of Business, Center for Professional Responsibility in Business and Society. McGreal’s presentation will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Illinois Law Review.
