Health Sciences – Multicultural and Community Affairs (HS-MACA) staff will attend a Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare training on “Youth Mental Health First Aid” on Jan. 17. The HS-MACA staff work with youth, ages K -12, and interact with young people, so it is important that they are equipped to educate, manage and refer adolescents who may be experiencing a mental health or addiction challenges or are in crisis.
