Technology Standards Council News

The following proposed technology standards have been published and are now “Open for Comment” to the Creighton community. Please login to the website (web.creighton.edu/itsc/standards) using your Blue credentials to review and post comments.

  • Single Sign-on (SSO) Architecture – The use of Shibboleth as the preferred middleware for managing identity within our web environment.
  • Central Alerting and Monitoring for Servers – The use of Nagios as the solution for monitoring the network and server resources on campus.
  • Allscripts Enterprise Electronic Health Record – The use of Allscripts EHR as the only electronic health record application utilized throughout Creighton Medical Associates.
  • BlueLine – Learning Management System – The use of BlueLine/BlueLine2 as the sole Learning Management System for the University.
  • Server Backup Retention – Reduces the duration of backup retention from one year to 60 days.
  • BlueCast – Standardize on BlueCast as the lecture capture platform for the University.
