Greg Zacharias, professor of English, director of the Center for Henry James Studies and member of the Humanities Research Group, announced that the Gilbert C. Swanson Foundation awarded the Center $5,000 for the purchase of research resources and computer hardware and software. This award brings the total for Swanson Foundation gifts to the James Center to more than $100,000. Swanson Foundation gifts support of The Complete Letters of Henry James, the Center’s extensive collection of Henry James letter copies, and work done by the James Center on behalf of students and scholars around the world working on Henry James-related projects.
