The parents, students and staff of the James R. Russell Child Development Center congratulate raffle winners Joel Gehringer (iPad2) and Jan Lund (TV). We also thank the celebrity servers: Fr. Lannon, Coach Flanery, Coach Booth, Coach McDermott, Dr. Don Frey, Dr. Tanya Winegard, Marianne Culhane, John and Shirley Walker, Brian Young and John Wilhelm for their willingness to serve the Creighton community and support the education provided at the Center. In addition, thank you to the entire Creighton community that supported the event through the purchase of raffle tickets, attending the meal, and purchasing the many baskets, gift cards and silent auction items. The event was very successful and brought more than $8,000 to meet the needs of the children and teachers. The painting of the Center’s interior has begun with completion by the end of December, teachers are excited about additional educational opportunities, and the parents are proud to offer scholarships for families in need.
