CUAlert Testing Dec. 2

The University will test its emergency notification system, CUAlert, on Friday, Dec. 2, at 9:30 a.m. Keeping students, faculty and staff well-informed when there is an emergency or crisis is a University priority. CUAlert uses multiple channels to deliver emergency notifications to the Creighton community such as weather-related University closings. Make sure to maximize the efficiency of the system by providing multiple ways to be reached (ie., e-mail, phone, cell phone, work phone, home phone, text messaging, etc.). The system is only as good as the data it holds. Now is a good time to log into CUAlert and update your contact information.

In other developments, phones in Creighton classrooms have also been added to the CUAlert system. When an alert is issued, these phones will ring and recorded emergency notification information will be communicated. If these phones do not ring in the classroom by 10 a.m., please notify DoIt at 402.280.1111 so appropriate action can be taken.
