United HealthCare Pharmacy is Creighton’s new prescription drug provider. A representative from United Healthcare Pharmacy, the Creighton School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, and Human Resources will be on hand to help you learn more about UHC Pharmacy’s services and tools, the Preferred Drug List (PDL) and what you can do reduce your pharmacy expenses. While the Creighton Rx benefits have not changed, coverage and cost for a medication will depend what tier your medication is on. After reviewing the PDL, you may want to consult your doctor to discuss alternatives. This informational session will introduce you to resources available through UHC and the Creighton Clinic Pharmacy, go over medication changes and review tier coverage.
