Creighton Hosting Undergraduate Sociological Symposium

The Department of Sociology and Anthropology will host the annual Nebraska Undergraduate Sociological Symposium (NUSS) Nov. 10-11 at the Harper Center. The conference features undergraduate students presenting their papers based upon their own research. Awards are made for the best papers in two categories: library and repository source research, and original research conducted by the students. The awards will be given during a banquet on Thursday evening in the Harper Center. Founded by Fr. Clement Schneider, S.J., in 1969, NUSS is a consortium of colleges and universities from across Nebraska who offer degrees in sociology or anthropology.
