“Standing Bear’s Footsteps” Documentary Screening

A screening of the documentary, “Standing Bear’s Footsteps,” will take place Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Harper Center, room 3023. “Standing Bear’s Footsteps” is a 60-minute high definition documentary that weaves interviews, recreations and present-day scenes to tell a story about human rights — one that resonates powerfully in the present. The documentary will be presented by Princella Parker, associate producer of the film, and Georgiana Lee, assistant director of Native American Telecommunications, both Creighton University alumni, who worked on the documentary. This program is sponsored by OMA, Native American Studies Program and Native American Association. (1 IDEA Unit)
