Please welcome Ed Lube, the new general manager for University Dining Services, and Michael Fleming, the new retail director, to Creighton.
Lube brings a wealth of diverse experience from his 28 years of service with Sodexo. He has significant food service operations experience in both health care and campus services. He has led teams at American University, George Mason University, Texas Christian University and was general manager at the University of the Incarnate Word. Lube’s most recent assignment was at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, S.C., where he was general manager for the last five years. He and his wife, Martha, and have two children, Sarah and Bryan, who is a 2011 graduate of Creighton University and a past member of Creighton’s varsity tennis team. Lube is passionate about providing outstanding customer service and looks forward to continuing this tradition on campus.
Fleming joins the Sodexo team as the new retail director. Fleming comes to Creighton from his job with Sodexo at Arizona State University, where he worked for the past six years. He has a great deal of experience with Sodexo, opening the first University Starbucks operated by Sodexo, opening a multimillion dollar student dining facility and overseeing many remodeling projects, all of these undertakings bringing student dining to the forefront. Fleming and his wife, Lisa, have three children, Jacob, Katelyn and Brooklyn.
