Raynovich Reappointed to NAEMSE Board

William Raynovich, Ed.D., associate professor and director of Creighton University’s Emergency Education Services Program, has been reappointed to a three-year term as senior editor for the National Association of EMS Educators Editorial Review Board. He will oversee the editorial content of NAEMSE’s two publications, Educator Updates and Domain 3, a peer-reviewed publication on issues important to EMS educators and practitioners.

Raynovich, who has 45 years of experience in the EMS field, joined Creighton as EMS director in 2004. His research and scholarship interests include EMS clinical care, leadership, management and education. His current research involves the expansion of the scope of practice for rural and critical care paramedics. He recently completed a randomized national survey of paramedics regarding their current education and practices in critical care transport and is completing a Nebraska study related to community paramedicine and the role of paramedics in non-emergency home health care.

Creighton’s EMS program, started in 1974, is one of the leading EMT and paramedic training programs to usher in modern era standards for emergency medical services.
