During this three session AEA (Academic Excellence and Assessment) Brown Bag series, Yolanda Griffiths, occupational therapy, will orient instructors and staff to the variety of learning styles associated with generations of students. The first session of this series will provide a brief review of generational groups including learning styles and preferences if you missed the first of this series last spring. This series is interactive and participatory, continuing with more discussion and sharing of strategies that are successful in teaching across different generations or targeting the most common Creighton student, which is the millennial generation. This series requires participants to be active learners and contribute their observations, resources and discussion in a stimulating, collaborative learning community.
