Opening Reception for ‘Resonant Tide’

An opening reception for “Resonant Tide,” an exhibition highlighting the creative work of Creighton University studio art faculty, as well as the work of a select group of studio art alumni, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, in the Lied Art Gallery as part of the inauguration activities for Creighton’s 24th president Timothy R. Lannon, S.J.

The Gallery is located at 24th and Cass streets in the Lied Education Center for the Arts and is free and open to the public daily from 1 to 4 p.m., including weekends during the run of the exhibit. It is also open during all Fine and Performing Arts events. The exhibition runs Sept. 27-Nov. 4. The Gallery will be closed Oct. 15-23 for the University’s Fall Break.

This exhibition highlights the creative achievements of the artists, the importance of the arts in Jesuit higher education, and embodies the Creighton University mission. To read more about the artists, visit www.creighton.edu/liedgallery/.
