Creighton University School of Nursing has been awarded a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Program.
Creighton will receive $80,000 to support students traditionally underrepresented in the school’s Baccalaureate Accelerated Nursing Program, a track specifically designed for students already holding college degrees in other fields. Eight, $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to students entering the 12-month-long accelerated program between August 2011 and July 2012.
