Health and Wellness: Get Moving!

Regular physical activity is essential to losing weight and maintaining a healthy weight. If you are having a hard time fitting it into your busy day, break it up. Do 15 minutes first thing in the morning, 15 minutes over lunch and 15 minutes after work so you end up with a 45-minute workout for the day. Try this quick 15-minute staircase workout:

  • March in place for one minute
  • Do squats for 30 seconds
  • Run up and down the stairs for one minute
  • March in place for one minute
  • Do push ups for 30 seconds
  • Run up and down the stairs for one minute

Repeat the routine three times. Cool down for two minutes and stretch.
