Jensen Delivers 42nd Mary McMillan Lecture

Gail M. Jensen, Ph.D., dean of the Creighton University Graduate School, associate vice president for academic affairs and a professor of physical therapy in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, delivered the 42nd annual Mary McMillan Lecture at the 2011 meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association, held June 8-11 in National Harbor, Md. The Mary McMillan Lecture Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and recognizes a member who has made sustained and enduring contributions to the profession of physical therapy. The recipient presents a lecture at the association’s annual conference that is visionary and provocative, building on her or his contributions to the profession. Jensen, who spoke on “Learning: What Matters Most,” is the third Creighton faculty member to be honored with the Mary McMillan Lecture Award.
