Providing Support in the Wake of Region’s Floods

As floodwaters rise and subside around our region, we at Creighton University are mindful that we can serve as helping hands in this time for our friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.

If you desire to volunteer in flood relief efforts, remember Creighton’s Volunteer Service Time Off Policy. Though the policy states service needs to be done at a Creighton-sponsored event or service site, you can contact the Office of the Vice Provost for Mission and Ministry to review a site where you may wish to volunteer.

Creighton has established an emergency fund for those personally affected by the flooding. An Emergency Fund Request Form can be found here and can be submitted, along with any documentation to support the request, to Director of Human Resources Molly Billings.

Those wishing to donate to the Employee Emergency Fund can do so at this secured site.

The Employee Assistance Program also offers up to eight confidential, no-cost counseling sessions for employees and family members. EAP also offers additional resources and helpful tools, resources and experts. Call 800.424.4831.
