Real Appeal – Real Appeal is an online weight loss program available at no cost to all employees, spouses and dependents on our United Healthcare insurance plan. To qualify, participants must have a BMI of 25 or higher. Employee Assistance Program – The Employee Assistance Program provides professional counseling, information and referral services to faculty, staff and their families. The program offers confidential consultation on a wide variety of personal, family and or work-related problems that may contribute to high levels of stress and interfere with health and work performance.  The program includes up to 8 counseling sessions for employees and eligible dependents.  It also offers a variety of online programs and resources. Topics include the following:

  • Resiliency – overcoming stress and crisis at home and at work
  • Emotional Wellness- addition, depression, anxiety and other emotional wellness issues
  • Workplace success – career goals, team conflict, crisis and management support
  • Wellness and balance – work-life balance, stress, relaxation and personal well-being
  • Personal and family goals – relationship, children and teen, or aging loved ones; changes in finances or personal situations
