Wellness Council Healthy Bites: Resiliency for Living Healthy, Oct. 26

Resiliency is often described as the ability to bounce back during difficult situations. The challenges over the past 18 months have created a resiliency strain on many aspects of life, and in particular our personal lives. The Wellness Council will host Resiliency for Living Healthy from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 26. Tom Lenz, PharmD, professor and director of the Master of Science in Integrative Health and Wellness, will speak about overcoming difficult times.

People can attend the event in-person in the Skutt Student Center, Room 104, or online via Zoom.

This webinar will provide information about important elements of resiliency along with strategies that can be used to mitigate stressful situations and maintain a greater sense of well-being. The major topics covered in this webinar include chronic stress, the importance of connectedness, and lifestyle medicine strategies related to resiliency enhancement.
