Nominate a Leader for the Mary Lucretia and Sarah Emily Creighton Award

The University Committee on the Status of Women is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Mary Lucretia and Sarah Emily Creighton Award, honoring a member of the Creighton community who demonstrates a commitment to women’s achievements. Nominations are due Monday, Oct. 25, by 4:30 p.m. Go online to submit a nominationThe awards ceremony will take place during Founders Week in February 2022.

The award is presented annually to Creighton faculty, staff, administrators and/or students who have exemplified the following:

  • Created an environment supportive of achievements for women
  • Encouraged women faculty, administrators, staff or students in the development of their talents
  • Served as a role model of accomplishment for women

One online nomination form should be submitted by the primary nominator, giving specific examples as to how the nominee meets the criteria above, and can be accompanied by up to five letters of support, including one from the primary nominator. Each letter of support should be individually uploaded to the online nomination form at the time of submission.
