Faculty and Staff: Encourage Students to Enroll in Summer Sessions

Faculty and staff are encouraged to talk to students about enrolling in summer sessions, and faculty advisors should be reviewing their students’ summer plans to see if classes fit into their schedules. Classes are offered for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Registration for all summer sessions classes begins April 8 through the NEST.

A variety of summer terms are being offered, varying in length from four to 13 weeks. Some begin as early as May 10. Deadlines to add and drop through the NEST will be posted on the Registrar’s Office website.

For undergraduate students, they can take advantage of our summer tuition rate. Summer courses are also a great way for students to get ahead on their degree requirements, retake classes if necessary or explore new subjects of interest. Students have been encouraged to meet with their faculty advisors before enrolling in summer courses to discuss their options.

While students will have flexibility in choosing from on-campus and virtual options, Creighton has expanded its on-campus offerings, including on-campus laboratories as required for courses in the sciences and other subjects.
