Creighton Albatross File Storage Retiring Feb. 1

Effective Feb. 1, 2021 the Albatross file server will be retired from Creighton network airways!  After more than 15 years of service, it is time to act on any remaining files you have stored in Albatross and want to keep.  The Division of IT has worked with file owners for the past two years to reduce the number of files stored on Albatross; however, a number of files remain.  Most have chosen to move their content to One Drive or DFS.

Q: What do I do now?

  • If you have files or databases that are still stored on Albatross that you intend to keep, you need to act now. Your time is running short!
  • If you have files on Albatross and have not been contacted by your technical staff for assistance with moving them, please contact the myIT Service Desk.
  • If you have already moved your files from Albatross or do not have anything you would like to keep on Albatross, you need to do nothing.
