Semester Countdown: 17 Days Remaining

Just 17 days, including today, until the end of the semester! Participate in the Semester Countdown and recognize students who are following our COVID-19 guidelines. Recognition cards are available at all general-campus screening stations. You can recognize students on campus by giving them a card. These students have chance to win great prizes!

Also, faculty, staff and students can test their COVID-19 knowledge and have a chance to win prizes through our weekly Semester Countdown quizzes. Take this week’s faculty/staff quiz.

Last week’s faculty/staff winners are:

  • Sarah Ball, PhD, assistant professor, College of Nursing
  • Jayne Beauchaine, University Relations

Add COVID-19 Guidelines to Your Email Signature

University Communications and Marketing (UCOM) has added a COVID-19 guidelines image to the list of branded email signature options. Please consider adding the image to your signature to share these health and safety reminders: wear a face covering, wash your hands and social distance. You can access the branded signatures, including the image, under the “Email Signatures” tab on the UCOM website.

Tell Students in Isolation and Quarantine, ‘We’re Thinking of You’

Faculty and staff can send general notes of encouragement to students in isolation and quarantine. Printed notecards can be picked up and returned to our campus screening stations, or you can use this online form. These messages may be shared with multiple students, so you don’t need to personally know a student in isolation or quarantine. It is a great way to lift the spirits of our students.

Register Your Campus Event for Review

All in-person gatherings of any size, on or off campus, must be reviewed by the Event Review Task Group and approved by the COVID-19 Strategy and Implementation Team. Learn more about the process and download this handout on considerations for planning an event.

Walk-In Testing Available on Campus

Creighton continues to offer walk-in testing at its COVID-19 Testing Center inside the Kiewit Fitness Center (KFC), on the east end of the facility. Learn more. Please note: The east entrance of the KFC is currently closed as a safety precaution after high winds broke a window in Swanson Residence Hall yesterday, affecting that entrance. Please use the north or west entrances.

Form Required for Remote Employees, Visitors to Access Campus

Creighton employees working remotely and employees working on-premise who are hosting visitors, vendors, contractors and other guests must complete the Remote Employee & Visitor/Vendor Campus Access Form to request campus access for themselves or their visitors. View the process.
