Creighton’s Inaugural Mission Week: Imagine Our Magis

2019 marks the university’s inaugural Mission Week. This Sept. 9-13, the Creighton Community will gather to celebrate the university’s mission that guides the learning, research, work, engagement, and reflection we do individually and communally. This event was proposed by our campus colleagues on the Mission and Culture subcommittee of the University’s Strategic Plan and we are excited to see it coming to fruition.

We invite students, faculty, and staff to come together to listen, learn, reflect, and explore themes that emerge from our Catholic, Jesuit Mission. It will be a time set aside to reflect on our larger purpose and on the Ignatian heritage and spirituality that animate our university.

The Planning Team is excited to announce a week full of events including: a kickoff reception, an address by the Rev. Greg Boyle, SJ of Homeboy Industries, Dear World, and the All Things Ignatian poster presentation.  For a full schedule for the week, along with information to propose additional events to celebrate and reflect on our mission, please visit
