March 28: Ignatian Yoga Event

The School of Dentistry and the Program for Ignatian Mindfulness invites you to participate in Ignatian Yoga on Thursday, March 28 from 5-7:30 p.m in the Ryan Athletics Center and D.J. Sokol Arena. This event is free.

Ignatian Yoga co-founder and Jesuit scholastic, Bobby Karle, SJ, will offer an evening session drawing from the traditions of Ignatian spirituality and Yoga. The two-hour session will include a brief overview on the intersection of these two traditions and will then engage participants in an integrated practice of yoga and Ignatian prayer that aims to awaken and calm the body, mind, and spirit.  Students, faculty, and staff from all schools and colleges are welcome.

We begin with light refreshments and conversation at 5 p.m.

The practice led by Bobby Karle, SJ begins at 5:30 p.m.

Guests are encouraged bring their own mats. A limited supply of mats is available for those needing one.
