New Cybersecurity Training: Safeguarding Information

Each member of the Creighton community has a responsibility to safeguard the information assets entrusted to us. In that effort the Information Security Office will release the new Cybersecurity training modules on Thursday, Feb. 7. This training program will better prepare all of us to fulfill this responsibility and to strengthen our defenses against future attacks.

Cybersecurity training is given in both the fall and spring semester. Instructions for getting started will come via email on Feb. 7.  Like last semester the total time on this set of modules is under 25 minutes. You can take them one at a time and do not have to complete them all in one sitting. You will receive periodic reminders to finish the training until all have been completed.

Thank you everyone for taking our responsibilities seriously. Remember, adopting behaviors that protect information benefits the University, and can benefit you and your family, as well.
