Volunteers Needed: Project Homeless Connect Omaha

2018 PHCO info GraphProject Homeless Connect Omaha is looking for volunteers for this one-day event on Friday, March 29  from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m at Kiewit Fitness Center on the campus of Creighton University.

Project Homeless Connect Omaha (PHCO) is a one-day event dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness by providing health screenings and access to community resources in one convenient location.

Last year, more than 530 guests were connected to services and 1000 volunteers participated in myriad roles as navigators, health providers/screeners, or on an implementation team. Additional volunteers are needed for set-up, clean-up, registration and food service.

Most volunteers will serve as navigators to guide guests through the process of accessing services. Training is required for new navigators. We are committed to creating a positive, productive and safe environment for our guests and volunteers.
