Creighton University Chamber Choir and University Chorus Present Midterm Concert, Oct. 7

The Creighton University Chamber Choir and University Chorus will present a midterm choral concert featuring selections with texts themed around visions and dreams. This concert is Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at St. John’s Church.
Whether it is the prophet Ezekiel who ‘saw’ waters gushing forth from the Temple as a sanctifying flood, or Leonardo da Vinci imagining the inner workings of the first human flying machine, these dreams and ideas have flooded creative minds of humans forever. Music by Bruckner, Whitacre, Allan, Kay, Barnum, and others will be performed. The Chamber Choir is conducted by A. Barron Breland, DM, and the University Chorus is conducted by Adam Witte.
The concert is free with a canned good donation to benefit the Siena/Francis House. The Creighton University Chamber Choir and University Chorus are part of the College of Arts and Sciences Fine and Performing Arts.
