Three social work students have received scholarship stipends as part of Nebraska’s Title IV-E Stipend Program through the Department of Health and Human Services. Maggie Maietta, Chelsea Riediger and Holly Stokes will each receive scholarship stipends of $4,000 per semester for their remaining semesters at Creighton while they complete their social work degree. The funds come from the Social Security Act, Title IV-E and hope to encourage students to become employed and advocating for full-time work with the State after graduation. Students receive scholarship stipends toward their tuition their junior and/or senior year while they complete their BSW degree.
