Soto and Students Present at 63rd Biophysical Society Annual Meeting

Patricia SotoPatricia Soto, PhD, associate professor of physics, and undergraduates in her research group attended the 63rd Biophysical Society Annual Meeting that took place the first week of March in Baltimore. Soto delivered the invited talk “Structural biophysics of proteins using molecular modeling techniques;” India Claflin (Biology and French major) and Frances Morden (Neuroscience and Biology major) each presented a poster on their research project on prion protein stability; and Kole Runyan (Chemistry major) co-presented a poster on acetyltransferases specificity with research collaborators from Bay Path University.
