An Omaha native, MSG Andersen has helped guide ROTC students with his formidable experience as a Ranger instructor, his great sense of humor and his authenticity. The ceremony included a prayer for MSG Andersen and his family by Fr. Chaz Kestermeier, remarks by Dean Keegan and Maj. Pecha, as well as a special award to MSG Andersen’s wife, Amanda, for her sacrifice throughout his career. MSG Andersen has had a number of deployments across the globe and has served our country in a variety of assignments (please see his more specific bio here). The afternoon included stories, praise and thanks for MSG Andersen, along with many well-wishes for the next step in his life’s journey. MSG Andersen was joined by his parents, wife and daughters, as well as the many students he has impacted in his short time here. The College wishes MSG Andersen the best of luck in the future!
