Every year,  SSHP leadership collaborates with Creighton University School of Medicine students to contact professional programs in our region to participate in the Regional Multidisciplinary Clinical Reasoning Competition. Medical faculty provide a real patient case from their practice and pharmacy faculty assist in reviewing the written case documents and rubrics. These faculty members also then sit on the judging panel to rank the top 3 teams. The objective through this project is to provide pharmacy students the opportunity to interact with other health-professions students as well as to foster positive interprofessional relationships. This also gives other health-professions students the opportunity to experience the value of a pharmacist on a multidisciplinary team.
