CSW Summit Features Breakout Sessions

Registration is still open for the Committee on Status of Women Summit scheduled for March 16. The daylong professional development workshop includes keynote speeches, networking opportunities and breakout sessions. A complete list of conference sessions will be available soon, but here are a few examples of topics:

  • “Shifting Paradigms: Eco-Feminist Renderings of the Creation Stories, and Three Virtues for the Ecozoic Era,” presented by Laura Weber, Ph. D., director of Campus Ministry
  • “From Suffragists to Boomers: The Unsung Women of Nebraska,” presented Eileen Wirth, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Journalism, Media and Computing
  • “Building Collaborations: Innovative Strategies to Prevent Partner Violence and Sexual Assault Within Campus Communities,” presented by Lynn Pollitt and Emily Nguyen, Omaha’s Women’s Center for Advancement
