Registration is still open for the Committee on Status of Women Summit scheduled for March 16. The daylong professional development workshop includes keynote speeches, networking opportunities and breakout sessions. A complete list of conference sessions will be available soon, but here are a few examples of topics:
- “Shifting Paradigms: Eco-Feminist Renderings of the Creation Stories, and Three Virtues for the Ecozoic Era,” presented by Laura Weber, Ph. D., director of Campus Ministry
- “From Suffragists to Boomers: The Unsung Women of Nebraska,” presented Eileen Wirth, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Journalism, Media and Computing
- “Building Collaborations: Innovative Strategies to Prevent Partner Violence and Sexual Assault Within Campus Communities,” presented by Lynn Pollitt and Emily Nguyen, Omaha’s Women’s Center for Advancement
