The Creative Writing Program of the Creighton University Department of English will present a reading and book signing by award-winning poet Miles Waggener on Monday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Skutt Student Center, room 104. An Omaha resident, Waggener is currently a member of the Writer’s Workshop faculty at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Winner of the Arizona Commission on the Arts fellowship in 2003 and the Academy of American Poet at the University of Montana, his work has appeared in numerous journals including Crazyhorse, The Antioch Review and The Mid-American Review. His most recent collection, Sky Harbor, was published in 2011 by Pinyon Publishing. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 402.280.2192.
